Instructions

Step 1: Preparing Dough

  1. Pour the warm milk into a bowl and sprinkle the yeast on top. Let it sit for 3–4 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add the eggs, melted butter, and sugar. Mix until combined.
  3. Add the salt and most of the flour. Mix until a soft dough forms. Let the dough rest for 5 minutes.
  4. Knead the dough for 5–7 minutes until smooth and stretchy. Add a little more flour only if needed.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size (about 30 minutes).

Step 3: Baking

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Warm the heavy cream slightly and pour it over the rolls.
  3. Bake for 25–30 minutes until lightly golden.

Step 4: Frosting and Storing

  1. To make the frosting, mix the cream cheese and butter until smooth.
  2. Add powdered sugar and extract, then spread frosting over cooled rolls.
  3. If there are leftovers, store at room temperature for 1-2 days or in the fridge for 3-5 days in an airtight container. To reheat, warm in oven at 350°F for 10-15 minutes or in the microwave for 10-30 seconds.
